![]() ![]() The system is entering connected standby. #2: At 2/14 2:33 am, system entering a (normal) standby (no crash yet): #1: At 2/14 1:23pm (about the time I do a hard/cold reboot, because the laptop has crashed and has a black screen), the system records the time it thinks the crash happened: 2/14 4:16:51 am: Looking at Event Viewer, these are four key events under Windows Logs, System (oddly registers a keyboard input event to awake, although I was not using the laptop): I have the new Tiger Lake version, with all drivers updated and latest BIOS, but it regularly crashes after going to Standby. This is also a problem with the regular 9310 laptop (not the 2-in-1). ![]() It was an expensive ($3500) mistake I will not commit again. Now, I can formally say this will be my last one. I’ve had a few Dells in the past years and was overall satisfied. Now this one has this, and I had to DOWNGRADE the audio driver otherwise the 3.5 jack would only emit static and white noise. Ultimately had to make a serious complaint to Dell to get it changed, but it was not easy. changed the keyboard, the trackpad, the entire motherboard, and after all this the touch screen still didn’t work and the PC would freeze and crash every 18 hours or so. This is actually my second one because my previous one was a complete lemon: shipped with a faulty keyboard, and every subsequent repair broke something new. Honestly, I am NOT impressed by this machine. ![]() Any solution would be great because aside from the inconvenience, this can’t be good for the machine. ![]() I upgraded the BIOS to v2, and all but one driver (which I can’t update see below) is up to date. The fans go full tilt, the screen is blank and after this happened over a weekend (wasn’t home) the laptop was so hot it couldn’t touch it! I’ve looked at the logs and Windows seems to Still be running in the background as activity happens during times where this happens (overnight and such). Had installed a few apps so I figured it might be that but it still happens. I’m also having the same issues with mine. ![]()
